Konami Questions PS3 Price Cut, Hints At 'Metal Gear Solid' Multiplatform

Konami's head of European and North American operations Kazumi Kitaue says he doubts the PS3 price drop will have a sufficient impact on sales, and doubts Sony can win back its lost support. In a Reuters interview Kitaue states that, due to the smaller install base and sluggish sales, Konami may need to look beyond the PlayStation format for its blockbuster fighting game Metal Gear Solid: Guns of the Patriots which is currently scheduled for March 2008.
