'No More Heroes: Paradise' (PS3/X360) - New Screens

by Rainier on Nov. 19, 2009 @ 2:30 p.m. PST

In No More Heroes you play the role of Travis Touchdown, a hardcore anime fan who takes it upon himself to murder the top assassin's in the world, using the Wiimote to wield Travis' beam sword and kill off enemies in gruesome ways.
No More Heroes tells the story of Travis Touchdown, an animé fan who lives in the fictional town of Santa Destroy, California. After an unexpected turn of events, Travis finds himself being approached by the head hunter of an assassins’ organisation. Travis is challenged to prove himself worthy by defeating ten other bloodthirsty killers – all with deep stories of their own – to make his way to the top of the assassins’ league.

Suda 51’s creation features avant-garde graphics which will thrust players into a stylized world filled with edgier gameplay. Taking its lead from the silver screen, the storyline is riddled with laugh-out-loud violence, black humor and irony-filled dialogue. No More Heroes is a multi-sense video game experience: dark, engaging and pure entertainment!

The original NMH is coming to PS3/X360 with improved graphics, Japanese voice-overs and new modes, one where the female characters wear even less clothes.

No More Heroes: Heroes Paradise is currently only scheduled for release in Japan, scheduled for Feb. 25, 2010.
