'Hitman' And 'Kane & Lynch' Studio Hit By Layoffs

IO Interactive, known for developing Hitman and Kane & Lynch, has been hit by as many as 35 layoffs, revealed by none other than 3D Realms' George Broussard who tweeted, "Layoffs at Io Interactive (Kane&Lynch/Hitman). As many as 35, and a project canceled. - Tis' the season." Square Enix confirms that an unspecified number of employees were let go, and neither were any specifics given on the so called canceled title.
