In a time of unthinkable hardships, Reyes must lead the remnants of coalition forces against a relentless enemy in a war that stretches to new terrains across the vast expanse of our solar system. Experienced soldiers are thrust into extraordinary circumstances that will test their training and reveal their true character as they learn to lead and to make the hard decisions necessary to achieve victory.
Infinite Warfare introduces new weaponry, new player abilities and stunning new settings to the Call of Duty franchise. The entire campaign - from boots-on-ground combat to piloting high speed space-fighters - occurs as a near seamless experience with few visible loading times, and delivers the hallmark, blockbuster franchise moments that fans love. In addition to a riveting single player campaign, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will also deliver a robust multiplayer mode, and a unique cooperative zombies experience.
First, thank you to everyone out there who has been jumping into the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Beta to help us stress test and fine tune the multiplayer before launch. We couldn’t do any of this without you, and to show appreciation Infinity Ward has tipped the scales by adding in a lot of new content.
You may have already noticed the FTL Combat Rig in the game, along with game modes Kill Confirmed and Gun Game, and the new map, Precinct. But best of all, IW will be extending this first Beta weekend by an extra day! Instead of concluding on Monday, you’ll have a whole extra day to multiplay until things wrap up on October 18 at 10am PDT (5am GMT).
It's day 3 of our Infinite Warfare MP Beta and we want to give a huge shout out and thanks to the amazing Call of Duty community.
We saw massive numbers of people piling into the beta on day 2 and a lot of excitement when we added a new map, Precinct, and another mode, Kill Confirmed. We have some more surprises for you today, including Gun Game being added to the mix as well.
I know what you’re thinking. That’s awesome, but the clock is already ticking and we only have 24 hours left to play. Well, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. We're extending the first weekend of the beta by 24 hours to give you more time to play and give us more time to stress test the system.
With our Beta, we not only want to give you a sneak peek of what you’ll see in the final game, but we also want to put our servers and systems to the test so we’re ready for day 1. We’ve already collected a ton of data and gathered lots of insights to help us make your full multiplayer experience the best it can be on November 4. We’re getting great feedback from you guys and we want to keep it coming.
We’ve introduced a new matchmaking system into Infinite Warfare designed to provide the highest quality matches possible, and the Beta is our chance to stress test. We’ve been looking forward to the Beta because changes such as these require player data at scale in order to truly optimize the new system.
So thanks again for your support of the Beta. If you have found yourself waiting a little longer than you are used to, we ask you to remain patient. We got you, just know that it’s all helping us optimize everything as we march toward launch. Just over the last two days, we’ve made numerous real-time modifications in-game that were only possible with your help.
And please keep up the dialogue because it all goes toward helping us refine the online experience. Hit us up at on our beta feedback reporting forum. Infinite Warfare is a game we’re super proud of, and we’re looking forward to everyone playing as much as they can.

Key Features:
- Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will lead players through an unforgettable journey as they engage in heroic battles with hallmark boots-on-the-ground combat. The campaign spans our solar system, taking players on a journey from Earth to beyond our atmosphere. It’s grand scale war with unforgettable characters, rich emotional arcs, an epic new setting and blockbuster Call of Duty action.
- Return to Classic, Large Scale War Set within a plausible future setting, the game puts players in the role of Captain Reyes, a Tier 1 Special Operations pilot, who takes the helm of the Retribution, one of Earth’s last remaining warships. In a time of unthinkable adversity, Reyes must lead the remnants of coalition forces against a relentless enemy.
- Fighting a Fanatical Enemy The Settlement Defense Front (The Front) represents a splinter group of insurgents that broke away from the United Nations Space Alliance during a war of secession, years ago. In the world of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, our planet has been stripped of its natural assets through population growth and industrial expansion. The people of Earth now rely upon colonies throughout the solar system to mine planets and asteroids for necessary fuel and other resources. The Front is a fascist power, comprised of brutal and militant radicals, toughened by the extreme conditions of off-world environments. They seek to control those outposts and their wealth, putting a stranglehold on the countries of Earth. After years of uneasy stalemate, diplomatic relations are strained and it will take only the slightest nudge to tip the entire solar system into war.
- Immersive, Seamless Campaign Experience For the first time ever, many parts of the campaign – from boots-on-the-ground, to piloting a jet fighter, to zero-g and space combat – will occur as a near seamless, action packed experience with few visible loading times, and delivers the signature, blockbuster franchise moments that fans love.
- Warships Introduce a New Element to Call of Duty For the first time in the series, air and space combat are a key aspect of the campaign. Players will experience new combat scenarios and environments that add tremendous variety and excitement to the single player campaign.
- The Retribution: The Retribution serves as the player’s home and representation of their life on Earth, as they journey through the solar system. A massive warship housing the player’s crew, the Retribution is a key character throughout the campaign and a vessel that players will come to rely on and be responsible for.
- Jackal: Throughout the campaign, players will also pilot their very own advanced space combat ready jet-fighter, better known as the Jackal.
- Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare features a Multiplayer mode that features an evolution of Call of Duty’s movement system with an emphasis on front-line engagement. It rewards players for utilizing their surroundings and applying strategy in the heat of the moment. Maps are designed to immerse players into fast, fun, and frenetic gameplay that players have come to expect from Call of Duty. With its new approach to play, multiplayer will bring innovative gameplay that challenges players to achieve their goals in creative ways based on their specific play style.
- Infinite Warfare will introduce an original cooperative Zombies mode that takes players on a wild ride through a new storyline with unique gameplay features and mechanics. Expect a lot of fun surprises when more details about the new zombies experience are announced later this year
