10 Years ago today, it started with a plane crash in the North Atlantic Ocean. A lighthouse. A man. A city under the sea.
BioShock: The Collection brings the three titles together, complete with all single-player DLC as well as a never-before-seen video series, “Director’s Commentary: Imagining BioShock,” which includes insights from Ken Levine – over $100 of content – for only $59.99.
If you’ve never experienced the series before, now is the time to play it and see for yourself why the award-winning BioShock franchise has topped countless “Best-Of” lists and garnered more than 125 awards including two BAFTA honors, as well as many Best of E3, Best of Gamescom, and Game of the Year accolades. The weapons, plasmids, levels, and character models that shocked you years ago have been reskinned and retextured to look better than ever. On top of that, all single-player DLC created for all three games comes loaded in one package.
BioShock: The Collection developer Blind Squirrel Entertainment, also known for Borderlands HD and assisting on Mafia III, XCOM 2, Evolve and Sunset Overdrive, has laid off part of its eomplyees according to a tweet by former community manager Josh Mikkelsen.
Unfortunately, due to the unexpected cancellation of an unannounced project, Blind Squirrel Games laid off 13 staff members today – less than 10% of our workforce.
The studio continues to work on multiple projects. Our hearts go out to those who were laid off, and while we are working with our partners to find them new homes, we are grateful for any additional help others in the industry may provide.
The bundled content for BioShock: The Collection includes:
