'Days of War' (ALL) Targeting Full Release in 2020 - Screens & Trailer

by Rainier on Aug. 14, 2019 @ 5:46 p.m. PDT

Days of War invites WWII shooter fans to join up with their friends and construct their favorite battle scenes/bases, then play them out in the style of classic competitive shooters.

Players can choose to play as the Americans or the Germans with up to 32 others. The Russian and British forces will be added as free expansion in the near future.

The battles are objective based such as the game mode Domination; where players fight over 5 flags in successive order, and Detonation; where one side has to place explosives on a number of predetermined locations, with each success adding time to the game clock.

Soldiers can take the role of Marksman, Rifleman, Assault, Support, Specialist, Shotgunner, Machine Gunner, Sniper or Rocket Soldier, with each faction having their own unique weapons. Each class has their own strengths and weaknesses, so players will need to work together to get the most out of their chosen role.

FPS players need to fall back on their marksmanship, skill, map awareness and tactical cunning. Like in true WW2 warfare, combat in Days of War is brutal, unforgiving and requires extensive teamwork.

In Days of War, bullets are what matter, not kill-streaks, not wall jumps, and certainly not drone strikes ordered from iPads.

Days of War previously released into Steam Early Access where it quickly amassed tens of thousands of downloads and Wishlists as well as a massive community of enthusiastic players.

Over the last three years we have been working tirelessly to realize the game that we all know Days of War can be. We believe we have done a great job on the development side but we know we can do better on the marketing and promotion and so we are proud to announce we are partnering with Graffiti Games to give us the experience and resources we need to properly launch our title!

Since Early Access, Driven Arts has been hard at work expanding Days of War to create the best World War II shooting game possible by developing and polishing a myriad of new content that will enter the game at full release in early 2020. Gamers can get their first chance to play the revamped version of Days of War at this year’s PAX West by visiting the Graffiti Games booth, 5201.
