Following the successful worldwide debut of Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringerslast month, Square Enix invites players to return and experience the critically acclaimed MMORPG free for up to six days. Beginning today through August 16, 2019, players who have been inactive for at least 30 days can log into their game account and use the opportunity to reconnect with friends, enjoy ongoing seasonal events, or upgrade to the Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers expansion pack and begin their adventure in the First.

This free login campaign coincides with this year’s Moonfire Faire seasonal event. Players who are level 30 or higher are invited to celebrate summer festivities through Monday, August 26. A variety of challenges await participants, who can obtain a number of time-limited seasonal equipment and housing items.

Players new to Final Fantasy XIV Online are invited to download a free trial to access content up to level 35, create up to eight playable characters, and experience the different playable races, classes, and jobs with no restrictions on playtime.
