Chernobylite is a science-fiction survival horror experience, mixing the free exploration of its disturbing world with challenging combat, unique crafting, and non-linear storytelling.

April 26th, 1986, 1:23 AM local time. The day when the Chernobyl nuclear disaster occurred, and the life of 350,000 people changed forever. At the time, you were just a passionate, but naïve, young physicist working at the facility. And like many, you’ve lost what was most dear to you – your girlfriend. Thirty years later you’re still struggling with the demons of the past. To finally put them to rest, you return to what’s now called the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.

30 years after the catastrophe, the pollution in Chernobyl continues to increase due to the unexpected activity of a dangerous substance produced as a result of the explosion, called “chernobylite”. You're far from safe. It is rumored from other stalkers still living in the Zone, that under the influence of its radioactivity, strange things have started to happen. Things only described in tales for naughty children up until now. You’re returning to Chernobyl with one goal in mind: to find your missing girlfriend and uncover the dark secret behind her disappearance. Get ready to confront not only the dangers of radiation and the military presence, but also the potential threat emanating from these new, mysterious happenings. Keep your wits about you and try to maintain your composure, because Chernobylite is going to challenge your very sanity.

Get ready for a thrilling adventure of survival, conspiracy, horror, love, and obsession. One that will6 prove to you that it’s not about how you face your fears, it’s about how you survive them.

Chernobylite is a science-fiction survival horror experience from the team behind the critically-acclaimed Get Even. The game mixes the free exploration of its disturbing world with challenging combat, unique crafting, and non-linear storytelling. The game utilizes Unreal Engine 4 and is based on Reality 51’s scanning technology, which is in development by The Farm 51 for over five years.

All in! Games has announced a new partnership with The Farm 51, bringing another dimension of resources to the distribution of Chernobylite on consoles.

Thanks to the cooperation, the game will get many more distribution channels (including streaming platforms) and will be professionally localized in more languages than originally planned. Before this happens, however, you can already enjoy another massive update that has just been added to the game.

“We’re thrilled that just a week after the successful premiere of Ghostrunner we can announce other important news. We believe that Chernobylite will be just as popular as our cyberpunk title and will meet the expectations of players all around the world,” said Piotr Żygadło, CEO at All in! Games SA a publishing house listed on the stock exchange in Warsaw. “Usually we don’t engage in projects without ownership of the IP, but the quality of The Farm 51’s production and its potential convinced us to make an exception,” he added.

This Mega Patch is the penultimate one before the game’s content is complete, and here’s what you can expect from it:

Two new quests to complete

Dig deeper into either Olivier’s or Olga’s story. Or explore both to add new plot pieces for discovering Chernobylite’s mystery.

Two new levels, and additional locations on the already existing ones, to be discovered

Fractal World “The Woman in the Red Dress” is the conclusion of a new investigation on the board, and “Stealing Adrianna’s technology” will especially be enjoyed by those of you who asked how Igor got his VR helmet. On top of that, you’ll be able to explore additional locations added to the levels you already know. So make sure to revisit them and find them all. Just remember – you’ll need one of the new “toys” for that.

And yes, by “toys” we mean new weapons!

Test either the Chernobylite Blaster or enjoy the Anti-Chernobylite Burner that will help you to access the already mentioned new locations. Warning! Don’t visit them unless you’re not ready for a whole load of new events, as we’ve added over 40 of them within all levels.

AI improvements

Get ready for a perceptible change in the way soldiers behave when patrolling and searching for you. But most importantly, beware of the Black Stalker, as fighting him now is a real challenge. Mark our words.

Check how much of your feedback was implemented in the game

In short: you talked, we listened. And then added changes to the game, re-designed, iterated, and overall made sure that Chernobylite truly is a joint effort – it’ll be as much your game as it is ours. This means that, among other things, we’ve enlarged the base with an area that was previously flooded with water. We’ve also completely rebuilt the looting system. Now, what your opponent’s drop should be both more interesting and better suited for the challenge. Since you didn’t really like the possibility of building cover while exploring the Zone, we’ve replaced it with the possibility of building machines that have a global impact on the area. Following your request, we’ve also added the ability to toggle aim and crouch, as well as an alternative way to use the dodge ability. And that’s the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the number of changes this Mega Patch brings, so dive in HERE for the full changelog.

Chernobylite is currently available for PC through Early Access (Steam and GOG.com).
