A mysterious new buck has been spotted around Annesburg – with a shadowy dark coat and antlers, the Legendary Shadow Buck is the latest animal for Naturalists to track, study and hunt in Red Dead Online, while a recent herb discovery by Harriet will allow for enhanced insight as Naturalists can experience life through the eyes of a Buck.

• New Legendary Shadow Buck Rewards: Sedating the Shadow Buck will net players Rewards for a free Vest of their choice and 100 rounds of Sedative Ammo, while those that kill and skin the animal will also receive a Reward for 100 rounds of Express Repeater Ammo

• New Discounts: 40% off all Outfits, Offhand Holsters and Gun Belts, and 30% off all Repeaters

Rumors Abound in Annesburg About the Mysterious Shadow Buck

Rumors are aswirl in Annesburg about an unusual buck with an entirely black coat and uniquely dark set of antlers. Like all deer, this buck typically avoids humans and may flee if disturbed, but beware – the Legendary Shadow Buck has also been known to aggressively charge at those who pose a threat. Poachers, drawn by the creature’s mythical appeal, have set up camps along its trail. Take care when tracking and approaching.
