Arc System Works America Inc. announced the public beta test for Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 rollback netcode support on Steam now begins Oct. 17, 2022 at 12:00 a.m. PT through Oct. 31 at 11:59 p.m. PT.

Rollback Netcode will bring Steam players a variety of enhancements to Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2’s online play. This will reduce delay in online matches to allow players to enjoy fighting fellow players across distant regions.

In commemoration of the public test, Arc System Works is holding a special Steam sale offering massive discounts for all self-published titles retrofitted with rollback netcode. The Arc System Works Rollback Retrofit Sale takes place from Oct. 16 at 10 a.m. PT through Oct 23 at 9:55 a.m. PT.
