World Of Warships is a free-to-play naval action MMO based on sea battles of the 20th century that complete the "World of" war trilogy.

Keeping with the best traditions of the series, World of Warships will offer a straightforward interface, easy-to-use controls, and a common economic system that will allow players to distribute resources between the three games for the ultimate progress in each of them.

The large assortment of available warships will give various tactical opportunities, as all the machines have a unique combination of firepower, speed, armor, and endurance.

Various naval maps with changing weather conditions will enrich the gameplay, and the realistic graphics will transport players into the epic battles that changed the course of human history.

November winds bring in the latest update to World of Warships, packed with Black Friday deals, plenty of pirate content, six new Tier VIII ships, the return of Ranked Duels and a classic five-week campaign.

World of Warships: Legends

Wargaming is introducing a boatload of new content in the November update for World of Warships: Legends. This update brings with it discounts for Black Friday, selection of pirate content including two new Commanders, and six more Tier VIII vessels representing British and French Navies. On top of this, a Japanese Tier VIII Premium destroyer is up for grabs at the end of another five-week, 100-milestone campaign and Ranked Duels return to the game.

Discounts and Deals for Black Friday
World of Warships: Legends kicks off its own Black Friday sale with an array of discounts and deals coming to the game in three waves, ranging from ships and Commander Progression, items to crates and more goods. Players can access five new superb black ships including Bismarck, through Store and said crates, while a credit-only purchasable mission features Italian powerhouse Dante Alighieri.

Shiver me Timbers, Pirates Aboard!
With piracy comes riches and this update brings plenty of loot to the game. Two new Captains, Ariadne M. Davis and Michel Le Tir are now on board, featuring their own unique voiceovers, and are set to lead British and French navies, respectively. To bolster these fleets, two new ships also sail into the game, with the introduction of Caprice and La Foudre. Alongside all this content, special Treasure Chest Crates chock full of doubloons and other booty are buried within this content drop.

Six New Tier VIII Ships
Accompanying these new additions are six more Tier VIII ships for British and French armadas. Three boats for each nation, consisting of one destroyer, one cruiser and one battleship are available in the tech tree. Included in these new additions are the French battleship Alsace and British cruiser Neptune.

Brewing Storm Beckons a Premium Ship
Another five-week, 100-milestone campaign comes to Legends, with Japanese Tier VIII Premium destroyer Hayate waiting at the finish line. Sporting excellent fire-starting capabilities, robust HP and impactful torpedoes, Hayate is worth the pursuit. For players who worry their efforts may not be enough, the campaign is equipped with both a catch-up mechanic as well as Heroic Effort missions.

Ranked Duels Return
On top of all this, World of Warships: Legends sees the return of Ranked Duels. With four seasons of the one-on-one format taking place across the update, players can use ships from Tier IV to Tier VII to level up, win prizes, and prove their prowess, though carriers will be excluded.

World of Warships

Wargaming is bringing a shipment of brand-new content in Update 0.11.10. With a range of Japanese light cruisers entering Early Access, submarines exiting Early Access and diving into the Tech Tree, alongside visual improvements introduced across a number of maps. On top of all this, World of Warships sees the introduction of a Battle Pass, and a new season of Clan battles.

Japanese light cruisers come to Early Access

Leading this update is a new range of Japanese light cruisers added to Early Access. This collection of medium-range ships boast a good firing range, with ships ranking Tier VIII upward featuring large quantities of main battery guns. These ships have high-damage and high-range torpedoes to destroy their enemies from afar, and are well camouflaged, enabling cruisers to get the surprise advantage in approaching opponents without being detected.

Players have a number of ways of securing these impressive vessels, with Agano, Gokase and Shimanto available in consecutive bundles, and Omono waiting as the final reward for combat missions.

Submarines sink into the tech tree

Following the introduction of playable submarines to Early Access in Update 0.11.9, German and American submarines have become researchable to all players by moving into the Tech Tree. Spanning Tier VI-X, these submarines are lethal, hidden under the water with powerful torpedoes. The German submarines offer players low visibility and long range acoustic torpedoes, whose tubes are able to reload simultaneously, while American submarines are equipped with short-range acoustic torpedoes and a rapid reload time.

Alongside this, each nation’s submarines are equipped with their own unique set of consumables. German U-boats offer access to both reserve battery unit and an improved submarine surveillance consumables, while the American vessels have the enhanced rudder gear and enhanced hydrophone consumables.

Visual improvements across the board

Update 0.11.10 also brings a host of graphics improvements to the game. Visuals for a number of maps including “Mountain Range”, “North” and “Strait” have received highly detailed textures, and the “Northern Lights” map has also seen an overhaul to more realistically depict aurora borealis. Vegetation models have also been upgraded across all maps, and ships see improved graphics with a convincing wetting effect implemented, wave divergence changes and dynamic reflections all updated for improved realism.

Battle Pass inbound

Rounding out this update, World of Warships is also releasing a new Battle Pass, which rewards daily and weekly combat missions with two different reward chains up for grabs, a free one and a premium one available for purchase. Four different Brawls will take place across this update, with the first stage kicking off on November 7th. In addition, the 19th season of the Barracuda Clan Battles begins shortly after Brawls on November 9th, with a seven-on-seven format for Tier X ships.
