'Weird West' Surpasses 400,000 Players, Kicks Off First Community Event, Reveals Content Roadmap - Trailer

by Rainier on April 12, 2022 @ 9:40 a.m. PDT

Weird West is an action RPG experience set within a surreal vision of the developing frontier.

Survive and unveil the mysteries of the Weird West through the intertwined destinies of its unusual heroes in an immersive sim from the co-creators of Dishonored and Prey.

Discover a dark fantasy reimagining of the Wild West where lawmen and gunslingers share the frontier with fantastical creatures. Journey through the origin stories of a group of atypical heroes, written into legend by the decisions you make in an unforgiving land.

Each journey is unique and tailored to the actions taken - a series of high stakes stories where everything counts and the world reacts to the choices you make. Form a posse or venture forth alone into an otherworldly confines of the Weird West and make each legend your own.

Over 400,000 players have roamed through Weird West since its launch on March 31, and what better way to celebrate than with a zombie apocalypse?

Reports are rolling in from across the Weird West of a plague of undead rising from their graves. Worse, a terrible sickness seems to follow in their wake.

The plague marks the first in a series of planned live events for the game that will soon grow to include new story events, encounters, expansions and Journeys.

WolfEye Studios has shared its upcoming content roadmap, highlighting free updates already in the works, as seen above.

Stay sharp, travelers.

Weird West is available for PS4, Xbox One and PC (Steam).
