A Plague Tale: Requiem is the direct sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence. Previously, players lived the grim tale of young Amicia and her little brother Hugo in a heartrending adventure through the darkest hours of history. Hunted by Inquisition soldiers and surrounded by unstoppable swarms of rats, Amicia and Hugo came to know and trust each other as they struggled to survive against overwhelming odds and fight to find their place in the world.

After the original game's epic finale, players embark on the emotional journey's second chapter in the narrative action-adventure franchise, which follows Amicia and her brother Hugo on a perilous new quest, doing whatever it takes to survive a brutal, uncaring world.

A Plague Tale: Requiem revealed an Extended Gameplay trailer during the Focus Showcase, complete with an official release date announcement for October 18 and pre-orders available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC!

In a new extended gameplay sequence, follow Amicia and Hugo as they make their way through a massive ochre-red quarry overwhelmed with soldiers eager to capture them. Fortunately, the duo have many new tricks up their sleeves and don’t shy away from getting their hands dirty. Watch how it all plays out and get ready to embark on their heart-rending journey into a brutal, breathtaking world, and discover the cost of saving those you love in a desperate struggle for survival.

Additionally, two tracks of the game’s soundtrack, composed by Olivier Derivière and featuring the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir were also heard during the countdown leading to the showcase. Players can buy digitally the two tracks here, directly from the composer.

Asobo Studio and Focus Entertainment are working with NVIDIA to add NVIDIA RTX features to A Plague Tale: Requiem.

The game will also be available Day One with Xbox Game Pass for Console, PC and Cloud.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is coming to Nintendo Switch (Cloud), PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on October 18, 2022.
