Task Force 141 makes its massive return with a global squad of iconic veterans, these Operators include Captain John Price, Simon “Ghost” Riley, John “Soap” MacTavish, Kyle 'Gaz' Garrick and introducing Mexican Special Forces Colonel Alejandro Vargas.

Players will experience what made Task Force 141 become the iconic and legendary squad that it is, featuring familiar heroes and new allies who will be challenged to work together in missions across Europe, Asia and the Americas. The Campaign is set to be an incredible experience, featuring offshore sieges with underwater combat, all-out explosive assaults from 30,000 feet above enemy strongholds, and high-stakes, low-profile stealth missions. Players can also join up with their duo for evolved Special Ops, a tactical co-op mode that will advance team-building skills, and also sets the scene for the near-endless hours of gameplay available in the world-class Multiplayer.

In Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II’s multiplayer, players will be able to try out and level up the multiple base weapons, explore a wide range of maps and modes, meet an international cast of Operators and more. Modern Warfare II will also have an incredible post-release calendar, set to include a massive amount of free post-launch content drops featuring new maps, modes, and blockbuster special events that can’t be missed.

Soon after the launch of Modern Warfare II, Warzone 2.0 will launch as an extension of the Modern Warfare II universe. With it comes new technology, new features, and new gameplay that work seamlessly together. Throughout, the team has taken a wide range of community feedback to heart with both experiences. In order to fully deliver this state-of-the-art Warzone experience, Warzone 2.0 will feature new Modern Warfare II content and systems with brand-new progression and inventories. To add, today’s Warzone will continue as a separate experience that will include a continuation of player progression and inventories within that Warzone experience.

Expect a massive calendar of free content post-launch featuring evolving gameplay with new maps, modes, seasonal events, community celebrations and more.

In addition, for the first time in Call Of Duty history, the team is using one unified engine across the franchise. Starting with Modern Warfare II, the new title features the new, next-generation engine first debuted with Modern Warfare (2019).  Modern Warfare II will be the most advanced Call of Duty in history, with a truly immersive experience with stunningly realistic sound, lighting, and graphics. New technology, including new toolchains, AI and locomotion models are refined. Modern Warfare ll features a physically based material system allowing for state-of-the-art photogrammetry, a new hybrid tile based streaming system, new PBR water and underwater decal rendering system, world volumetric lighting, 4K HDR, and more as well as a new GPU geometry pipeline. All of this is in service of a massive cinematic campaign.

To celebrate Military Appreciation Month, the Call of Duty Endowment and Activision Blizzard are announcing this year’s in-game fundraiser and continuing efforts to advocate for veterans through a new policy paper on female veterans’ employment. The policy paper details the obstacles female veterans face when seeking meaningful civilian employment, as well as helpful solutions in reversing these issues.

While the size of our nation’s military has remained steady, the significance of in-uniform and veteran women is steadily growing with 17% and 10% representation, respectively. The percentage of American women in the veteran population is expected to double over the next 17 years. As the impact by women in the military increases, so do the challenges they face upon returning to civilian life. As outlined in this policy paper, For Veterans, the Future is Female: How Women Veterans can get the Civilian Jobs they Deserve, the experiences that transitioning women veterans face are complex, interrelated and many are unique to their gender.

The data is clear that female vets, despite tending to be more educated than their male counterparts, have a much harder time finding a civilian job and are underrepresented in the workforce. Women are more than twice as likely to be unemployed 6 months after completing their service than male veterans. This stands in stark contrast to their growing importance for national defense. As daunting as the barriers faced are, the Call of Duty Endowment’s grantees’ years of concerted effort have shown us how to best support women veterans in achieving high quality employment. Our partners have internalized these learnings and provide women veterans focused solutions, placing them into careers at almost twice their representation in the veteran community. The Endowment has funded the placement of over 16,000 female veterans into meaningful employment. As more and more women enter the military and subsequently complete their service, the Endowment seeks to highlight proven solutions for their post-service employment challenges and enable their future contributions in civilian life.

“Loot for Good gives Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 fans the opportunity to directly support our veterans by doing what they love - playing the game,” said Dan Goldenberg, Executive Director of the Call of Duty Endowment and Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility at Activision Blizzard. “This initiative will not only be fun, but it will draw attention and raise awareness for the importance of finding veterans jobs.”

“When we started the Endowment 14 years ago, our goal was to bring the economic plight of veterans to the forefront,” added Goldenberg. “So far, we have placed 118,000 veterans into meaningful careers, but there is plenty more that needs to be done. Especially for female veterans who are 2-3 times more likely to be unemployed than their male counterparts.”

Between May 1 and May 7, Activision Blizzard will allocate $1 as part of a $1 million total donation to the Call of Duty Endowment (C.O.D.E.) for each DMZ match where at least $30,000 of in-game Cash is extracted. Track your progress on the Loot for Good leaderboard and earn an in-game reward for your efforts.

This Military Appreciation Month, help support veterans by looting as much in-game Cash as you can in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 DMZ.

In the first-ever charity extraction challenge, Activision Blizzard will allocate up to $1 million to the Call of Duty Endowment , meaning you can put your DMZ skills to the test while directly contributing to the Endowment’s mission of placing unemployed and underemployed veterans in the U.S. and U.K. into high-quality jobs.

Loot for Good: How It Works

From May 1 to May 7, deploy to your DMZ Extraction Zone of choice and successfully exfil with at least $30,000 of in-game Cash. Do this, and Activision Blizzard will allocate $1 (USD) per player to the Call of Duty Endowment.

Individual players can raise up to $10 in actual, real-world USD for charity – one dollar will be allocated for each successful in-game Cash extraction up to ten extractions – with a global $1 million maximum donation toward the Endowment.

Hit up those Cash Registers, complete contracts, sell off those expensive GPUs and other high-value items...whatever gets you in-game Cash fast, it’s all game in DMZ.

Players who complete the $30,000 minimum exfil objective for the first time will additionally earn the “Loot for Good” Calling Card, which commemorates your efforts in helping veterans find high-quality jobs.

Get Daily Updates with the Loot for Good Leaderboard

Players will be given daily updates touting their progress on the Loot for Good Leaderboard, which will be updated daily based on in-game activity.

The leaderboard will show the top 100 players based on their total in-game Cash extracted throughout the event. Check back daily starting May 1 to see where you stand against the greater community.

Players will automatically be included in the Loot for Good leaderboard. Visit the leaderboard starting on May 1 to find out more, including where you can purchase the Loot for Good sound track and how to opt out of the program: www.callofduty.com/LootForGood.

More on the Music Video

As part of the Loot for Good campaign, the Call of Duty Endowment produced a special music video featuring War Hippies, a country music duo comprised of U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Army combat veterans Scooter Brown and Donnie Reis. These two artists are both advocates for their fellow veterans and the wider military community, telling their stories through honest songwriting.

For this campaign and the video, War Hippies recorded a new version of their breakout independent hit song “The Hangman” with modified lyrics dedicated to the “Loot for Good” campaign.

We tip our hat to War Hippies, who are helping the Call of Duty Endowment in their mission to put veterans in meaningful jobs and careers. Learn more about where you can purchase the Loot For Good track here, as 50% of the proceeds from the song’s sales will be directly contributed to the Call of Duty Endowment.
