Nightingale is a first-person, PVE, open-world survival crafting game played solo or cooperatively with friends. Explore alone or band together with other survivors, obtaining valuable materials to construct settlements, and craft vital tools and weaponry as you fight against deadly monstrosities and the Fae, humanity’s magical rivals. 

Thrown into a labyrinth of fantastical and perilous worlds in the wake of a magical cataclysm, players must venture through mystical portals to explore increasingly dangerous realms, in search of the last haven of humanity, Nightingale. 

You are stranded beyond our world, cut off by the collapse of the arcane portal network. This catastrophe has left you fighting to survive in a labyrinth of beautiful and dangerous Fae realms.

Your goal: become a skilled Realmwalker, and navigate the web of transdimensional portals. Only then can you discover your way to the magical city of Nightingale, the last known bastion of humanity.

In the above Developer Update, Inflexion Games addresses the community's feedback and highlights the latest technical and gameplay improvements. In addition, the studio announces the decision to move the Early Access release to Fall later this year. The developer also reveals new creatures, such as the Hexham Mongrel, the Elephas, and the Leporidon, which Realmwalkers will encounter while exploring the intriguing worlds of Nightingale.

“After many discussions with our team, we’ve come to the decision to move the game to Fall later this year. The reason for the release shift is simple: the playtest process is working. The feedback we’ve been receiving from players has been invaluable, and the extra time will allow us to continue the progress we’ve been making without it compromising the team’s health”, says Aaryn Flynn, CEO at Inflexion Games.

Inflexion Games plans to prioritize playtesting and listening to community feedback over the next few months, with the next playtest scheduled from May 26 to June 5th. Players who wish to participate can register their interest at the official website.

• Co-op Or Solo: Adventure solo, or play cooperatively with your friends in an online shared-world realmscape. Combine your strengths, skills, and resources to survive and thrive together. Work together to build communal estates, join up in uncovering the mysteries of the realms, and unite in facing the challenges of the Fae.
• Deadly Encounters: Craft and wield a variety of melee weapons and firearms in first-person combat. Confront the fearsome creatures that lurk in the portal network. Fend off incursions by the twisted Fae mimicries of humanity known only as the Bound. Join other players against colossal apex creatures in the deepest reaches of the realms.

Nightingale is in development for PC (Steam/Epic Games Store), with Early Access planned for 2023.
