Developer Elder Games and alt-indie publisher Headup are excited to announce a significant new Steam Early Access update to Soulslinger: Envoy Of Death.
We have just released our first major update, The Forgotten Graveyard Update. In this patch, we are introducing a completely new realm, a new boss, a new weapon, new enemies to defeat and much more. We also made some balancing changes and fixed some bugs.
Forgotten Graveyard
Welcome to the Forgotten Graveyard! Are you ready to face the challenges that await you in a realm controlled by The Countess? Be prepared to fight ferocious monsters that you have never faced before to reach her.
But if you manage to defeat her, you will be rewarded with her precious weapon, the Night Quartet. It operates differently from the other weapons you were able to use before, as it has a cooldown mechanism. This means that you can fire it as many times as you want without having to reload it, but be cautious about overheating it!
Blood Essence and Spectral Essence
Blood Essence is used for a set of powerful new abilities focused on absorbing the blood and spirits of your opponents to heal yourself, deal more damage, or enhance your ultimate skill. However, some of these abilities are consumed upon use. Utilizing the Blood Essence abilities can give you an edge in challenging battles and help you in seemingly impossible fights.
To obtain Spectral Essence skills, you must venture into the treacherous 'Forgotten Graveyard'. These abilities are unique and powerful, for example, you can unlock explosive homing projectiles that can hunt down your targets and deal massive damage, or trade in your dash for a double jump.
Power Totem
The Power Totem is another new addition to Limbo. You can now spend the tears you've collected on permanent upgrades that will help you in your fight against the Cartel. You can upgrade as much as you want to get even stronger, as there is no end to the Power Totem—however, the cost increases each time.
