To celebrate the return of Kobe on the NBA 2K cover, players will be able to channel their inner-Mamba mentality in the brand-new Mamba Moments mode. Recreate some of Kobe’s most captivating performances and progress through his transcendent journey from a young phenom to one of the greatest players of all time. In addition, NBA 2K24 will introduce ProPLAY - a groundbreaking new technology that directly translates NBA footage into NBA 2K24 gameplay. ProPLAY delivers animations and movements via on-court NBA action for a generational leap in authenticity on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. More details on Mamba Moments and ProPLAY will be released later this summer. NBA 2K24 will offer three editions of the game in various digital and physical formats: a Kobe Bryant Edition, a legendary Black Mamba Edition, and an all new, exclusive 25th Anniversary Edition, which includes a 12-month subscription to NBA League Pass.

2K revealed that NBA 2K24 Season 6 features new updates coming to MyCAREER, MyTEAM and The W Online*, introducing some new updates and rewards for fans, with the NBA playoffs on the horizon.

In NBA 2K24 Season 6, players are urged to channel Oklahoma City Thunder star and silky smooth shotmaker Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s fashion sense and adept approach to basketball by expressing themselves on and off the court in style. Compete during Season 6 to earn all-new rewards in-game and through the NBA 2K24: MyTEAM mobile app, and experience exciting upcoming events in The City and The Neighborhood.

Anytime, anywhere, you can add new player cards to your ever-growing squad and stay competitive. This Season, we’re dropping more cards of ranging rarities for you to earn, starting with the Level 1 Free Agent Chet Holmgren card rated as a powerful 98 Overall.

As Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s Thunder co-star, Chet Holmgren is making noise in his first season on the court. The No. 2 pick of the 2022 NBA Draft is a force to be reckoned with on both offense and defense, anchoring an energetic team filled with playmakers. Holmgren is the prototypical build for modern-day big men, with exceptional three-point range, handles that rival some of the best guards in the league, and the length to defend every position. The rookie would make an excellent addition to any 3- or 5-man unit. And if you want to add one of his cards permanently to your MyTEAM collection, you can still get 200 Blocks across any mode in MyTEAM to earn his Pink Diamond.

You can’t teach experience, and veteran sharpshooter Patty Mills has plenty of it. Reach Level 10 to earn the Diamond Patty Mills card and add his three-point capabilities to your offensive arsenal. This 16-year league veteran has an NBA Championship on his resume, is a three-time Olympian for Australia, and ranks top 50 on the NBA’s all-time three pointers list. Insert Mills into your lineup to wreak havoc on opposing teams with a lethal pick-and-roll combination.

Need a dynamic spark plug to provide an offensive surge for your team? Look no further than the Level 20 Pink Diamond Jordan Poole. This former Golden State Warrior and now-Washington Wizard is a walking highlight reel, capable of dazzling with his bag of crossovers or his ability to get hot from behind the arc. Poole’s knack for scoring can give you a boost in a starting role or off the bench.

Tyronn Lue gained invaluable experience as a player during his 14 years in the NBA, and now he’s using that knowledge to his advantage as a coach. From his time leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to victory, Coach Ty Lue is one of the best coaching minds in the league, excelling with in-game adjustments and superb situational strategy. Reach Level 25 to deploy Pink Diamond Coach Ty Lue’s gameplan and give your team a mental edge.

Mix the old school with the new school by incorporating Level 30 Galaxy Opal Robert Parish into your lineup. The nine-time All-Star is a four-time NBA champion and used his relentless pursuit of rebounds to impact the game. During his 21 years in the league Parish was a menace on the boards, averaging more than 10 rebounds per game in 10 different seasons. Add him to your lineup for a physical presence in the paint. And be sure to keep leveling up to add another Galaxy Opal player to your collection at Level 37.

Close out the Season 6 rewards ladder with the Level 40 Dark Matter Shai Gilgeous-Alexander card, the first earnable Dark Matter card in NBA 2K24 MyTEAM. SGA is a bonafide superstar, and every lineup needs a certified scorer and facilitator to lead their team to victory.
