The story unfolds in the ruined city of Remore, once sustained by the luminant structure known as Memolith. When its light faded and the Memolith shattered, the city fell into chaos and the people turned into monstrous beings. With only a handful of Survivors remaining, players must navigate relentless threats while uncovering the truth behind the lost light.

To survive in this desolate world, players must explore locations and collect essential supplies while avoiding the Infested, dangerous creatures that roam the land, slaughtering all in their path.

Gameplay is focused on exploring the darkness, avoiding enemies’ detection, and triggering battles at the right moment using a range of historical weapons.

WEBZEN announced that Memolith: Forsaken By Light will officially launch worldwide on April 27, 2026 (PDT) for PC (Steam / Epic Games Store).

Originally released in Early Access in October 2023, the game has been significantly rebuilt based on player feedback, evolving into a more refined and expanded experience ahead of its 1.0 release.

The full launch introduces a broader and more structured journey, with expanded story progression, new Survivors, and a redesigned gameplay flow. Players will now face a wide range of powerful boss encounters throughout each stage of the game, including newly introduced mid-boss battles that create more dynamic and escalating challenges.

The update also includes a reworked quest structure, alongside upgraded systems such as Weapon Crafting and Memory Binding system, further enhancing its tactical depth. Additional improvements include balance adjustments and new interactions throughout the game.

Reflecting its global launch, Memolith: Forsaken By Light will now support 8 languages (English, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese) expanding from Early Access to better serve players worldwide.

With the full release introducing significant changes, players who participated during Early Access will start a new playthrough at launch, allowing them to fully experience the redesigned content and systems. All updates will be available at no additional cost to existing players.

  • The Blacksmith will be the most important NPC in the camp. He can craft, repair, reinforce and upgrade your weapons which is the key to progression, along with making many essential tools.
  • The resources will get more and more scarce, so you will need more supplies than you can get in the battle. Send a Scavenger NPC out into the world to find key items.
