Step into a surreal puzzle-platforming adventure as Barb, a young woman living as an NPC in an abandoned gameworld. Your beloved city of San Francisco is under threat from a sinister plot and it is up to you to save it with the help of a mysterious and powerful device: the Oscillator.

Yerba Buena shines thanks to its unique, groundbreaking “Copy and Paste” mechanic, letting you manipulate the game world at the touch of a button! Simply copy the desired trait or movement vector of objects around you, and apply them elsewhere to solve mind-bending environmental puzzles! Give a table the bounce of a trampoline, hurl entire buildings across city blocks, or turn solid walls into thin air!

Your world is a game, so break the rules!

Focus Entertainment and Mad About Pandas premiered a new gameplay overview trailer for Yerba Buena.

Learn all about the game’s story and unique ‘Copy and Paste’ mechanics, then try them out for yourself with the game’s new Steam demo, available now!

Manipulate the World with Copy and Paste

In Yerba Buena, you’ll play as Barb, a young woman living as an NPC in an abandoned video game production. It’s up to you to save your beloved San Francisco by solving ingenious platforming puzzles with the Oscillator and an original Copy and Paste mechanic. Use the Oscillator to scan your surroundings and identify what properties may be copied. Then take the desired behavior and stick it onto your target to change the world around you!

Copy a car’s left-to-right movement, and paste it onto a housing block to make it move. Copy a trampoline’s bounce, and apply it to concrete to make it bouncy – or capture gas coming out of a broken pipe to turn solid walls into thin air! Properties can even be stacked on top of one another, so experiment! You’re always free to reset your actions if you change your mind.

Try Yerba Buena for Free with the New Steam Demo!

Put these skills to the test in the game’s new Steam demo, available now until the game releases on May 26!

Meet our colorful cast of characters, learn the ins and outs of the Oscillator, and experience the first three levels of the game, including the tutorial. Any progress you achieve in this demo will carry over to the full game upon release.

Dive into an original video game world set in 1970’s San Francisco and save your city from greed and destruction! Use your Oscillator to solve ingenious puzzles, track down a dangerous gang of bikers with superpowers, and discover the origins of the mysterious glitch that threatens San Francisco.

Play as Barb, a young woman struggling to find her way in 1970s San Francisco. Become the main character you were never meant to be with the help of your friends Russell, Wanda, Jorge, and some unlikely allies!
