'Final Fantasy XIV' v7.5: Trail to the Heavens Update Details, Adding New Quests, Dungeon, Raids, Beastmaster Job And More Next Week - Trailer

Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail brings an abundance of fresh content, including an increased level cap, multiple new jobs, sprawling new areas, new allied tribes, new dungeons, and new core battle content such as FATEs, Hunts, Treasure Hunts, and sidequests, and much more.

Eorzea, an awe-inspiring land of endless possibilities. Whether you choose to battle fierce creatures in the wilderness, fashion the ultimate blade in the forge, or swap tall tales in the local tavern, the history of Final Fantasy XIV will be shaped by your actions. Choose from an exotic variety of races, looks and classes to fashion your hero. Change classes simply by equipping a different weapon or tool and tackle an ever-changing assortment of level quests alone or with friends.

In addition to bringing the long-running story arc that began with A Realm Reborn to its conclusion, Endwalker marks a new beginning for the MMO, setting the stage for new adventures that longtime fans and new players can enjoy together. The new expansion will bring an abundance of new features, including multiple new jobs, an increased level cap, vast new areas, updates to the battle system, a variety of new challenges to overcome, as well as crafter and gatherer content.

The new Dawntrail expansion sees the Warrior of Light travel to the land of Tural for the first time, bringing with it a wealth of new content. Expect new story, multiple new jobs, sprawling new areas to explore, new allied tribes, new dungeons, new side quests, new Hunts, new Fates, new Treasure Hunts and much more.

The age of adventure has begun.


Square Enix revealed more information on the latest major patch for Final Fantasy XIV Online. Patch 7.5, titled Trail to the Heavens, was again confirmed for an April 28 release date.

The above trailer introduced by Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida showcased a variety of additions and updates set to arrive with the patch, including main scenario quests, the final instalment of the Echoes of Vana'diel alliance raid series, the next update to Occult Crescent, a new dungeon, a new Ultimate difficulty raid, a look at the new limited job—Beastmaster, and much more.

Square Enix also announced an exciting collaboration between Final Fantasy XIV and Jollibee, the global restaurant brand twice-crowned as “the best fast food fried chicken” in America by USA TODAY. Launching on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, the limited-time crossover will give Warriors of Light an opportunity to receive an Eat Chicken in-game emote with a qualifying purchase of a Final Fantasy XIV meal at any Jollibee location across the United States and Canada or through purchasing a limited-edition Jollibee x Final Fantasy XIV merchandise item, exclusively available on Complex.com while supplies last. Players in the United States can also grab a limited-time drink, the Blue Raspberry Aether with Crystal Boba, which will be served in a specially designed commemorative cup featuring iconic Final Fantasy XIV characters, while supplies last.

Finally, Final Fantasy XIV Sound Director Masayoshi Soken appeared on the broadcast to share more details surrounding the recent announcement of THE PRIMALS performing at Download Festival in the UK on Friday, June 12, 2026.
