NC America officially confirmed that Aion 2 will arrive later this year on Steam and PURPLE platforms.

The Aion 2 development team has invested deeply in building a version suited for global PC players and will be actively engaging with Western players and media throughout the year. The AION 2 development team will introduce more news for AION 2 in May, and looks forward to answering questions from the community.

First, the Aion 2 global version is built specifically for PC.  

Second, servers will be hosted locally in North America, South America, Europe, and Japan. Aion 2 will be localized to 10 different languages players can choose from in-game: English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Simplified and Traditional Chinese.

Aion 2 brings a varied and deep set of PvE content from solo and four-player dungeons to eight-player raids, where the core gameplay experience is about mastering the game mechanics, movement, and teamwork. Aion 2 also offers a variety of PvP activities involving high-stakes fights, from 1v1 and 4v4 arenas to massive-scale, cross-server RvR (Realm-vs-Realm) battles, and the return of the faction-based Abyss from the original Aion.

From solo instances to large-scale raids, AION 2 PvE content is built around scale and variety. Over 200 dungeons span multiple formats: solo challenges, 4-player party content, and 8-player group dungeons. Difficulty tiers include an Easy Mode with boss tutorials and a player-replacement system so a single dropout does not end a run. Beyond dungeons, seasonal challenges, competitive rankings, and open-world events give you reasons to keep fighting and the Abyss ensures that PvE and faction war are never far apart.

The Shugo Festival brings a variety of mini-games to Atreia. Protect the Shugos from waves of enemies, race pets against other players, dodge lasers, and more. Earn unique rewards along the way, including wings, skins, pets, and decor. There is a mini-game for every playstyle.
