Braking Point now comes with multiple difficulty settings catering for returning vets and rookies making their F1 debuts. The on-track excitement ramps up with the upcoming event film of the summer, Apple Original Films’ F1, launching worldwide in cinemas this June from Warner Bros. Pictures.

Popular game mode, My Team receives its first significant overhaul with players calling the shots as the owner of their F1 team. Take on new responsibilities before getting behind the wheel as either of the team’s drivers. On track, F1 25 continues to innovate through the power of its EGO engine. Enabling increased circuit authenticity made possible through LIDAR technology, several tracks and their surroundings are transformed with a more realistic look and feel.

As Formula 1 celebrates its 75th anniversary, players can compete alongside and against the biggest driver line-up change in several years, including Lewis Hamilton’s unprecedented move from Mercedes to Ferrari. The 2025 season promises to deliver the most unpredictable and dramatic season. With new stars trying to make a name for themselves, established drivers challenging for podiums, or veterans hoping for a World Championship on a new team, F1 25 allows players to re-create every breathtaking moment through various single-player and new collaborative options. 

A new era begins. Electronic Arts has kicked off the countdown to EA Sports F1 25: 2026 Season Pack, revealing the cover athletes headlining the upcoming, and highly anticipated, DLC. Lewis Hamilton, Gabriel Bortoleto, and Valtteri Bottas appear together on the cover, ushering in a brand-new season of F1 with new teams, including Audi and Cadillac, drivers, regulations, and more.

Looking forward, players in F1 25 will be able to expand their experience next year with the full 2026 FIA Formula One World Championship.

Coming in 2026 as a paid expansion to F1 25, the premium content update will align with the sport’s major changes for the 2026 season, bringing fans new cars, sporting regulations, teams, and drivers.

In 2027, EA SPORTS will deliver the next full game in the franchise - a deeply authentic and innovative representation of the action and thrill of Formula 1, reimagined into a more expansive experience with new ways to play for fans around the world. Built for the rapidly evolving and globally expanding nature of F1 fandom, with more than a third of fans having entered the sport in the last four years, the refreshed experience will expand on what longtime players have loved from the franchise, and celebrate the passion of Formula 1 through a game that immerses both new and longtime players in the modern era of the sport. This move comes as part of a multi-year strategic investment in the EA SPORTS F1 franchise, with support from both Formula One Management and the F1 teams.
