Set in the same universe, years after the events of Gravity Circuit, in a rebuilt Kernel City, players will face a new Ark full of invading forces from the Hunter Army. Gravity Circuit 2 sees Kai returning as a playable character, as well as introducing a new one: Cable, allowing players to switch between the two before the start of a new mission to experience a brand-new fighting style whenever they wish.
While Kai retains his classic closed-combat fighting style, Cable brings a more long-ranged approach, with projectiles, multiple jumps that can damage enemies and powers that allow him to turn defeated foes into scrap that can be used as ammunition.
To face off the new threat, additional tools will be available to Kai and Cable to improve their skills and abilities throughout the game: new Booster Chips and Burst Techniques will shape their move sets and stats, while a brand-new upgrade can be obtained from each defeated boss with Circuit Shards, allowing players to gain new abilities all together.
Players will be able to blast their way in the 2D levels of Kernel City to take down new enemies, progress through intense platforming phases and uncover new secrets while enjoying the new soundtrack from Dominic Ninmark, who already scored Gravity Circuit to much acclaim.
To celebrate the reveal, Domesticated Ant Games and Dear Villagers will giveaway Gravity Circuit on Steam for free from June 1st, 2026, at 19:00 CEST to June 14th, 2026, during the Dear Villagers Publisher Sale.
