'Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7' Season 04 Begins This Week, All You Need To Know - Trailer

by Rainier on June 2, 2026 @ 11:46 a.m. PDT

The year is 2035 and the world is on the brink of chaos, ravaged by conflict and psychological warfare following the narrative events of Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 6.

With cutting-edge technology in hand, David Mason leads an elite Black Ops team on a covert mission to the sprawling city of Avalon and fight back against a manipulative enemy who weaponizes fear above all else. While there, they discover a sophisticated plot that won’t just plunge the world into chaos, it will pull them into their own haunting pasts.

Multiplayer explodes out of the gate with 16 electrifying 6v6 maps and two 20v20 maps at launch. Master a cutting-edge arsenal and outmaneuver your enemies with a next level Omnimovement system.

In Treyarch’s legendary Round-Based Zombies mode, the nightmare begins where reality ends. Trapped in the heart of the Dark Aether, the crew is thrust into a vast, ever-shifting hellscape in the biggest Round-Based Zombies map in Black Ops history.

Season 04 brings another massive wave of content across all four modes. Launching June 4, the next major update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Call of Duty: Warzone delivers Operation Wall Breaker in Endgame, five new and remastered Multiplayer Maps, the return of Fortune’s Keep in Warzone, the new Rogue Run mode set on Ashes of the Damned in Zombies, and much more.

Mid-Season is loaded with even more across every mode, including Act IV: Operation King Killer in Endgame, the new Kowakujō Round-Based map in Zombies, the return of Champion’s Quest in Warzone, plus additional Multiplayer maps and modes.

Here’s what players can expect in Season 04:

Multiplayer Overview:

  • Multiplayer Maps: At launch, descend into Liminal where an unstable mind reshapes the map, battle within a Japanese game show in Primetime, and watch your step on the remastered Vertigo. In the Mid-Season, navigate a map of traps in the new Zenith and activate a rocket on the remastered Launch.
  • Multiplayer Modes: Wind back the clock with Black Ops Classic, wield sleek weapons in Blueprint Gun Game, and adapt to your given Loadout in 6v6 Gunfight at launch. Later in the season, cycle through weapons in Team Blueprint Sharpshooter and ditch the ranged weapons in Knife Fight.
  • Additional Loadout Content: Drop deadly munitions over their heads with the new Iron Rain Scorestreak, a high-altitude, player-controlled aircraft providing a bird’s-eye view of the battlefield.
  • Black Ops 7 Ranked Play: Get wins and climb the Ranks in the next season of Multiplayer Ranked Play, featuring a completely overhauled, transparent Skill Rating system where every point of SR earned and lost is clearly explained in the post-match summary.

Zombies Overview:
