Ninjala 2: The Uncharted Planet marks a new frontier for the series, transforming the original Ninjala’s high-energy PvP into an open-world action game. Players will traverse vast, nature-rich landscapes at their own pace, with the franchise’s high-speed Ninja-Gum Action combat driving every encounter.

Along the way, master the power of the Shinobi to conquer dungeons and take down colossal bosses across an undiscovered world. In this new world, combat now goes deeper than ever, with weapon attributes, item crafting, and a cooking system fueling quests you can tackle in any order.

Ninjala 2 is told in an ambitious two-part story. The Uncharted Planet is the first installment, setting the stage for an epic narrative that will continue in a second chapter at a later date.

The adventure begins at the WNA Academy when a mysterious stranger manipulates the protagonist into breaking the Forbidden Seal. As the entire Academy is transported across the stars to a strange planet, the sinister Prime Tetrad of the Xenos Army is simultaneously unleashed. Now stranded on an uncharted world, the protagonist must work together with their allies to find their way back home to Earth, uncovering their own destiny that lies dormant deep within them along the way.

GungHo Online Entertainment America (GOEA) shared its full lineup for Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles, headlined by the first public demo of the recently revealed Ninjala 2: The Uncharted Planet. At West Hall booth #2316, attendees can be among the first to go hands-on with the open-world evolution of Ninjala. The booth will also feature a prize giveaway and a range of merchandise spanning some of GungHo’s most beloved titles.

The Anime Expo demo features two playable courses: a Planetary Exploration Course showcasing the game’s combat, and a Photography Course that lets players go on a sightseeing adventure across the world. Everyone who plays the demo will receive an inflatable bat modeled after the game’s IPPON Katana.
