When the cursed rain falls, 'Mimesis' appear, perfectly imitating your teammates, bringing a new level of tension you've never experienced before.
In a world where mysterious rain transforms humans into creatures called Mimesis, players must escape via tram, gather resources, and keep the vehicle running, all while paranoia mounts that one teammate may already have been replaced.
The Mimesis AI mimics voices, behaviours, and memories, creating tense psychological battles where trust itself becomes the ultimate trap.
KRAFTON announced that Mimesis has surpassed two million cumulative copies sold worldwide.
Last month's major update added further content to the game's Steam Early Access run, helping drive the new sales record.
Mimesis passed one million copies sold worldwide within 50 days of its Early Access launch last October, and crossed the two million mark following last month's update. Building on this momentum, KRAFTON plans to continue growing MIMESIS into a major franchise IP.
Last month's update improved the creature's behaviour and reworked the game's progression and difficulty, driving the latest sales spike. The game has also built a strong following on video platforms, with content built around its mistaken-identity premise drawing a combined 10.33 million watch hours and peak concurrent viewership of 3.8 million across individual videos.
