'Dispatch' Physical Editions And Original Soundtrack Album Arriving In Q4 2026, Pre-Order Now

by Rainier on Aug. 25, 2026 @ 9:15 a.m. PDT

Set in modern-day Los Angeles, Dispatch is a superhero workplace comedy where choices matter.

Manage a dysfunctional team of misfit heroes and strategize who to send to emergencies around the city, all while balancing office politics, personal relationships, and your own quest to become a hero.

You play as Robert Robertson, AKA Mecha Man, whose mech-suit is destroyed in a battle against his nemesis, forcing him to take a job at a superhero dispatch center: not as a hero, but a dispatcher. In charge of rehabilitating a group of ex-supervillains, you must manage your roster while navigating office relationships and rebuilding your suit for a shot at revenge.

While the main goal is to strategically send the team on epic missions, players must also navigate messy relationships, office politics, and life-or-death decisions.

Blending narrative, strategy, and humor, Dispatch explores what it means to be a hero, whether you're wearing a cape or behind a desk.

We’re coming up on one year of Dispatch, and kicking off the anniversary celebration a little early with something for all our collectors out there.

Starting today, you can pre-order the physical Dispatch Deluxe Edition, available in a standard case or in a SteelBook worthy of Mecha Man himself.

Right alongside the silver and steel we’re pressing the original soundtrack to wax: a three-record set featuring new artwork from art director Derek Stratton, available only from Lost In Cult Records.

Dispatch: The Album (3xLP) (£59.99 GBP)

What it is: The complete Dispatch soundtrack, pressed to vinyl by Lost In Cult Records as a 12", 140g, 3xLP set.

Given all the lying around on the floor he does, this author likes to think Robert would be a hardcore vinyl fan (if he ever decides to own anything). In honor of lying around on the floor, here it is.

What’s on it: Andrew Arcadi’s original score, paired with the game's licensed soundtrack, featuring music from:

[THOT SQUAD · Bershy  · Future Islands · BADBADNOTGOOD · Caroline Kingsbury · Big Black Delta · Primer · Lance Cantstopolis · FartBarf · Deep Dream · Ben Khan · gen beamish · And Andrew Arcadi

Every copy features brand-new artwork from Dispatch Art Director Derek Stratton, made especially for this release.

Two editions to choose from:

  • `Prime` Black Edition. All three records in classic black. The definitive standard.
  • `Astral` Variant. The same three records, each pressed in the colors of a key Superhero Dispatch Network employee: Mecha Man blue, Invisigal translucent purple, and Blonde Blazer yellow. Vinyl colors/effects are subject to change, and vary from print-to print.

Where: Pre-order at Lost In Cult

Also available: The first 500 Astral sets ship with a certificate of authenticity signed by composer Andrew Arcadi, sold as its own SKU on the Lost In Cult site. When they're gone, they're gone.

The Bundle (£84.99 GBP)

What it is: Assemble your own team of plastic, steel and wax, only with Lost In Cult, where they’re bundling the game and the vinyl together at £84.99 GBP!

How it works:

Standard Deluxe Edition + your choice of album edition (Prime or Astral) = £84.99 GBP.

Collector’s Note

We figure you’d all understand the impulse to encase the game in steel - after all, some things are just better when they’re suited up and well-loved with scuffs, folds, fingerprints, flames, bar fights…you get the idea.

Come and get your hands dirty, Dispatchers.

All editions arrive Q4 2026.

Key Features:

  • In Dispatch, every decision you make influences the unfolding narrative. From banter in the breakroom to life-or-death situations in the field, your choices affect your relationships with the heroes, their allegiances, and the path your own story takes.
  • Use the strategy map to review ongoing emergencies and deploy the right (or wrong) heroes to deal with them. Balance the risks and rewards as you make tactical decisions, knowing that each choice can have lasting consequences for your team and the city.
  • Managing heroes sometimes goes beyond their powers. Each hero comes with quirks, flaws, and baggage you’ll need to navigate to keep the team together. Upgrade their skills and unlock abilities to boost their effectiveness in the field.

Dispatch is available for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC (Steam), PS5 and Xbox Series X|S (including supported gaming handhelds).
