Capcom debuted a dramatic new trailer for Onimusha: Way of the Sword at Gamescom Opening Night Live with news for the swordplay action game’s public demo.
The Onimusha: Way of the Sword Demo launches today on Nintendo Switch 2 and Microsoft Store. The demo includes all-new content, which also arrives in an update today across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The latest footage of Onimusha: Way of the Sword showcases a series of thrilling boss battles. The action includes the reveal of Ifuu and Burai, an electrifying duo that conjures wind and thunder, plus a sneak peek at protagonist Miyamoto Musashi in his duel with Dokyo, and the first glimpse of gameplay showing our hero in his fully awakened Oni form.
Players can prepare for these fights with the Onimusha: Way of the Sword Demo. Starting today on all platforms, the newly updated demo will add new elements, including a second quest exploring the Oni Refuge. This surreal stage features an early slice of the story where players are introduced to new gameplay mechanics and the towering boss Daidara.Players with save data from the demo can also look forward to claiming a Kubi Akari charm as a special bonus when the full game arrives.
