In Monster Hunter Now, players take on the role of a hunter and embark on an adventure to hunt powerful monsters that appear in the real world. Since the game can be played on a smartphone, players can easily enjoy the hunting experience by joining forces with others. Monsters appear more frequently in large parks, making it easier for hunters to play together. 

Monster Hunter Now is about to celebrate its 3rd anniversary, and with it comes the launch of Season 11: Ashes of Ignition!

Beginning on September 17, Season 11 introduces new monsters, events and a brand new habitat! 

• New Monster and Habitat: In Season 11 Wave 1, Brachydios and Aurora Somnacanth arrive in Monster Hunter Now for the very first time. To coincide with Brachydios’ arrival, a fifth habitat, the new volcano habitat, will be added. 
• Riftborne Azure Rathalos & Aknosom Arrive: Riftborne subspecies are finally here as Riftborne Azure Rathalos makes its debut! By raising a riftborne subspecies weapon’s style customization level to 10, you’ll unlock an additional equipment skill for that weapon, giving you even more flexibility when building loadouts. Riftborne Aknosom also joins the hunt.
• Step-Up Quests: Step-Up Quests, which cause stronger monsters to appear on the field, and a new feature that does the opposite, will be added. This allows you to tailor the difficulty of your hunts to match your equipment progression.
• More to Come: Season 11 Wave 2 and beyond will bring even more fun, including Riftborne Black Diablos and exciting autumn events.
• In-Person Live Event: This November, the team is excited to announce their live event, Monster Hunter Now Carnival 2026 Osaka! The elder dragon Amatsu will make its debut at the live event!

• Mark monsters even with your phone in your pocket: With Adventure Sync, you can use a Paintball to track monsters while you explore your town and bring the hunt to your doorstep afterwards. As you explore, your Palico can mark passing monsters with Palico Paintballs, even while you aren’t actively playing, allowing you to return to them later, ensuring that the action never stops.
