Japanese ad agency Dentsu has teamed up with Nintendo to launch a video on demand service on the Wii. No details on what type of content will be created — cartoons, anime or full-blown TV shows — and while the pricing isn't set yet, some will be free, while others won't. Nintendo will start testing the movie service in Japan sometime in 2009.

AQI issued a statement saying, "AQI decided to cancel the project after analyzing the current market environment and forecasts for the future.
