Ubisoft Planning Tom Clancy MMO

Earlier today Ubisoft revealed it had acquired the full license to the Tom Clancy name, including movies, books etc... This afternoon a conference call was organized in which Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot revealed that the move was to clear the way for a Tom Clancy MMO, and by acquiring the full rights it would no longer have to pay royalties, the main reason why they had not gone forward with such a project before. While no details were revealed the Tom Clancy MMO will have a budget of $40/50 million.

Sony has rolled out new PlayStation Store content, starting with demos for Condemned 2: Bloodshot and SEGA Superstars Tennis, the Rock Band: Earache Thrashpack (At the Gates' Blinded by Fear, The Haunted's D.O.A. and Evile's Thrasher, $1.99/$5.49). There is also downloadable content for Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08 (new courses and a the ability to max out your original Game Face golfer’s skills). Apart from that there are a slew of new game/movie trailers, Flat Out: Head On Demo PSP demo, and the usual wallpaper/themes.
