Remember that rumble lawsuit that went on between Sony and Immersion? Everybody wondered why Microsoft did not get sued as well, but the software giant cleverly and quietly settled. There was more to it than met the eye: In the 2003 settlement, an odd clause offered Microsoft $15 million if Immersion sued Sony and obtained a settlement, which, they did in 2007.
