'Crysis Warhead' Revealed

Earlier this week Crytek announced that it would no longer be working on the previously scheduled v1.3 patch for Crysis, but said that the decision was made for "a good reason" and that it would give an explanation in the near future. That same day Crytek registered Crysis Warhead, fueling speculation that an addon was in the works, and a teaser website launched earlier today seems to confirm that. While there are no details given, the blank website features a picture of Psycho, one of the game's characters, but with the CryEngine 2 being ported to console, maybe the new addon will be bundled with the original on the PS3/X360.

'Eight Days' (PS3) and 'The Getaway 3' (PS3) Canceled

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe today canceled two games from its the London studio, third-person shooting/driving/action game Eight Days and action-adventure game The Getaway. In 2003 Getaway developer Team Soho and Studio Camden merged to form Sony London, which employs over 200 people. SCEE issued a statement saying that the projects were halted "due to the redistribution of resources and budget."

'Pyroblazer' (PSP/Wii/PC) - New Screens

'Tenchu 4' (Wii) Revealed

The latest of Japanese magazine Famitsu reveals that From Software is working on a new installment in the Tenchu franchise. After the rather disappointing Tenchu Z, developer K2, who has been acquired by SEGA, has been replaced by Acquire, responsible for the first two installments in the series. No further details were mentioned, but chances that the Wiimote will be used are great, and it is currently scheduled for release in Japan on Oct. 23.

Bruce Willis In Talks for 'Kane & Lynch' (ALL) Movie Adaptation

Last year we reported that Lionsgate had acquired the movie rights to Eidos' action game Kane & Lynch: Dead Men, with potential actors candidates Bruce Willis and Billy Bob Thornton in the running to play death row escapees, "flawed mercenary" Kane and "medicated psychopath" Lynch, respectively. While there is no news on Billy Bob Thornton, Variety is confirming that Bruce Willis Bruce Willis is negotiating to star as Adam "Kane" Marcus. Simon Crane, who is currently working with Willis as the stunt coordinator on the Touchstone Pictures' The Surrogates.

Electronic Arts Acquires Social Network ThreeSF
