EA today revealed the songs that comprise the NHL 07 in-game soundtrack. The largest song list ever incorporated into an EA hockey game, bands hail from serious hockey towns such as Montreal, Quebec (Priestess, Mobile), Toronto, Ontario (Pilate), Minneapolis, Minnesota (Quiet Drive), Buffalo, New York (Cute is What We Aim For), and Stockholm, Sweden (The Hellacopters).

Valve's SteamPowered website has been updated with details on a new Half-Life 2: Deathmatch patch adding a player "ready" command, objects no longer hide tripwire slams, it explodes, and scores no longer get updated after the round is over, fixing the case where a player is standing next to a grenade or flaming barrel when the round ends. Just restart Steam for the effects to take place.

The latest Famitsu issue gives the first details on Monster Hunter Portable 2, sequel to what is known in North America as MH Freedom. Borrowing various elements from Monster Hunter 2 on the PS2, the handheld sequel will feature ad hoc and online multiplayer, as well as new weapons and new locations such as snow covered landscapes. No release date was mentioned but surely more information will be released at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show.
