Today Ubisoft announced that it will publish Call of Juarez for the PC in North America and Germany in Summer 2006. Call of Juarez is a unique first-person shooter set in the classic Wild West and is being developed by Techland.

Dead Rising has been pushed back from its May release date to September 2006. SCi's financial statement not only revealed Tomb Raider going Nintendo, but there was also a rather curious mention regarding Battlestations Midway. SCI revealed that the title is no longer in development at Mithis Entertainment, but instead a "newly formed studio in Budapest." Upon checking the Mithis website it says "website closed" and Eidos seemed to know nothing about it, while SCi did not reply. When contacting HD interactive, Mithis was developing Joint Task force for them, we received word that an official announcement will be released tomorrow. Is Mithis closed? Is Mithis the new Budapest studio? Did SCi buy Mithis?

US District Court judge George Caram Steeh, Eastern District of Michigan, today issued a permanent injunction against a Michigan bill which sought to ban video game sales to minors, ruling that the bill is unconstitutional and cannot be implemented.

THQ has signed a worldwide publishing agreement with Gas Powered Games for its RTS game Supreme Commander. Chris Taylor is known for his work with Total Annihilation under Cave Dog, and Supreme Commander will mark his return to a genre that he helped popularize.

THQ and JAKKS today announced WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2007 is in development and is expected to make its debut on both current and next generation gaming systems beginning this fall.
