Dark and Light publisher Farlan Entertainment said today it has rescheduled the game’s official release for May 30th, 2006. Dark and Light will be available for download four days earlier, on May 26th, 2006, at 1pm UTC.

SEGA today announced the long-anticipated return of Golden Axe, a fan favorite since its original release in 1989. Developed exclusively for the PS3 and the Xbox 360, Golden Axe marks the first project from the recent acquisition of San Francisco-based studio, Secret Level.

Funcom signed a development and marketing agreement with Microsoft to optimize the forthcoming Online Action RPG Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures for the Windows Vista operating system. Microsoft will showcase ‘Age of Conan’ as a title that takes full advantage of new gaming functionality in Windows Vista.

Viva Media and 10Tacle Studios announce an official publishing partnership for GTR 2 in the North America. Atari continues to explore new worlds with the upcoming action-adventure game Arthur and the Minimoys. Directly inspired by world famous film director and writer Luc Besson's upcoming animated film of the same name, the Arthur and the Minimoys game will follow the film's storyline and feature eye-popping graphics and technical innovations.

Contrary to what was said at the Microsoft E3 briefing, Rockstar Games just announced Grand Theft Auto IV for the PS3 and Xbox 360, scheduled for release in North America on Oct 16, 2007 and in Europe on Oct 19, 2007. Microsoft's Peter Moore, however, did announce episodic content through Xbox Live.

An impressive Gears of War demonstration kicked off the Microsoft E3 briefing, which was followed by Peer Moore formally announcing Fable 2, Forza 2, as well as Tecmo's Dead or Alive Xtreme 2. Alan Wake is now being published by Microsoft and will be PC/X360 exclusive. Crysis is not Vista exclusive but will also work on XP. Live Anywhere is an Xbox Live Marketplace clone for PC, including GamerTag features. ShadowRun is unveiled, as well as Halo 3 trailer, both scheduled for 2007.

Namco Bandai announced today that all versions of its upcoming game Pac-Man World Rally will feature the Prince of all Cosmos from the award-winning Katamari series as an unlockable character by winning a Gold Trophy in all Circuit Cups within the EASY difficulty setting.

Publishers and developers worldwide will release more than 100 new Nintendo DS games in 2006. Nintendo will be releasing some big fan favorites, including the New Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Donkey Kong: King of Swing DS, and more. The NDS Lite is set to launch on June 11.

LucasArts revealed its lineup of titles on display at this year's E3 in Los Angeles, Indiana Jones 2007, LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, Star Wars Empire at War: Forces of Corruption and completely new intellectual properties such as Thrillville and Traxion.
