New 'Call of Duty 2' (X360) MultiPlayer Maps Coming

Activision and Infinity Ward announced plans today to wage a campaign of new content for its WWII-based FPS Call of Duty 2 with the release of nine multiplayer maps on Xbox Live online gaming service. The first four maps (2 free, 2 paying) will be available for download this spring, and the remaining five maps (paying) will be released in July.

Since then it has been quiet on the progress but Pete finally confirmed that a beta patch will be released this week, and if all goes well (meaning no major bugs pop up), the final patch should be released in a few weeks.
