In an interview on G4 id Software's Kevin Cloud announced that Nerve Software will be working with Raven Software on the development of the next Return to Castle Wolfenstein title, in particular the multiplayer aspect. Nerve previously already worked on the multiplayer part of the original Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and more recently the DOOM 3 PC expansion Resurrection of Evil.

Epic Games announced today that it has licensed OC3 Entertainment's facial animation technology FaceFX for use in Epic Games' Unreal Engine 3, making it available to all Unreal Engine 3 licensees. Epic Games will use the FaceFX product in their upcoming titles Gears of War and Unreal Tournament 2007 to create emotive characters and cinematic-quality dialogue sequences.

The Chronicles of Spellborn is a MMORPG set in the Enclave of the Five Sacrifices. Developed by Dutch studio Khaeon Games, previously known for Alpha Black Zero, Spellborn uses the Unreal 2.5 Engine. Khaeon Games is now accepting people to

If a character dies at the hands of an overpowering foe or player error, no problem – just hit a button and restart. In an interview with German magazine PC Games, senior producer Craig Hubbard revealed that Monolith is, or will be, working on an addon for its FPS F.E.A.R. While no additional details were provided, Craig did admit, saying "for sure" that the ending of the game was intentionally left open for a possible addon.
