The new game will follow the plot of the original "From Russia with Love" film, including the battle on the Orient Express and the boat chase sequence, but will expand the story with new action sequences. The development team approached the game as a director's cut of the film, which will allow the player to utilize such cool toys as the jetpack and a Q-copter as well as the trusty Walther PPK handgun.

Activision has released a new patch for Creative Assembly's 3D RTS Rome: Total War. At a fall Gaming Session press event in France, Ubisoft presented its lineup of upcoming titles. The usual suspects were all present, such as Ghost Recon 3, Prince of Persia, King Kong, and so forth, but the real interesting part was when producer Michel Ancel announced that the new installment in the Rayman franchise is making a comeback, which we already hinted at several months ago. While the teaser video did not reveal much information, it showed Rayman being called back from some tropical/vacation resort. No specific were given, but it is expected end of 2006, and most likely on current and next-gen consoles.

Blizzard has released yet another new Warcraft III map, this time called "Brutal Winter"... Map info: "The unforgiving winter is upon us... a time when resources are scarce and flanks exposed. Call forth the warriors, for there could not be a better time to attack than now. " This is a small map size and the suggested no. of players is 1v1, or 2v2. It is based on the "Lordaeron Winter" tileset.

EA announced today that BF2:MC went gold and is expected in stores October 25. 2K Games informed us that a second Serious Sam II demo will be released this Monday at 10 AM! The new level incorporates the recently released patch (fixing issues with the interface + multiplayer), and includes an additional level from the full game that can be played in both single and co-op multiplayer! For those who already have the full game, the level is "Greendale". We will of course have it available on our fileserver network at the aforementioned time.

UFO: Aftershock follows directly from one of the endings of UFO: Aftermath, where the player agrees to hand over the Earth to the Alien scientists, who are trying to change the planet into a giant living organism. The Council of Earth and their followers take refuge on an orbiting satellite prepared for them by the aliens, but not all the survivors of the original invasion where re-located. This demo features three missions situated in London, Paris and Stuttgart (thanks strategycore).
