LucasArts and Sony Online Entertainment today unveiled Star Wars Galaxies: Trials of Obi-Wan. This third expansion to the popular immersive online game is scheduled for release on November 1st, alongside the Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith theatrical DVD and Star Wars Battlefront II video game.

According to GamesIndustry.biz development on SCi's Carmageddon remake has been halted. According to sources at Visual Science work was stopped over 2 weeks ago, but it is not quite certain if this means the project got cancelled, on hold or moving to another developer. Eidos US said there were no plans to bring this title to North American and SCi/Eidos UK could not be reached at this point.
