Nintendos Mario Golf: Advance Tour for GameBoy Advance have linkup features with the GameCube version of Mario Golf, you can train the characters in this game, and send the data back to the GameCube version. In addition, all the characters from the GameCube version can be downloaded and use in the GBA version as well. Check out 15 new screenshots, some of which are GameCube versions showing link-up play.

GarageGames announced today the winners of Indie Games Con ’03 (IGC) Players Choice Awards sponsored by nVIDIA. 21-6 Productions returned to take 1st Place Overall for the second year in a row with their new game GravRally. 21-6's first racing title also edged out Dark Horizons: Lore from Max Gaming Technologies to win Best in Category for Multiplayer. A tie-breaker with Lore decided the Best in Category for Game Art which was awarded to Fuzee Teevee by Gastronaut Studios.

Eutechnyx is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Claessens to its production staff. Paul was previously Senior 3D Animator at games developer and publisher Davilex, based in Houten, The Netherlands. Paul takes up his role at Eutechnyx as Lead Animator, where he will work on SRS, Street Racing Syndicate, Eutechnyx' underground street racing game currently in development for Namco. Paul brings wide experience both of the games and TV industries, having previously worked on animation projects for BBC and Discovery Channel, plus the DVD releases of the movies Judge Dredd and The Prophecy. While at Davilex he was involved in the development of Knight Rider, Paris-Marseilles Racer, London Racer II and US Racer.
Says Paul, "I am very pleased to join the Eutechnyx team and particular excited at the prospect of working on Street Racing Syndicate, where I can use both my 3D Animation and my cinematic skills. Newcastle is also very different to Amsterdam!"

As announced last night Gearbox has now released the demo for their recently released Halo:Combat Evolved. This demo features "The Silent Cartographer" mission from the single-player campaign, as well as the "Blood Gulch" map for multiplayer action.
