Konami of Europe announced today that a new rendition of its best-selling horror title, Silent Hill 2, will be coming to the Xbox video game system from Microsoft in October. Following the incredible success of the PlayStation 2 version - which has sold more than half a million copies in Europe - Silent Hill 2: Inner Fears takes advantage of the added capabilities of Xbox with enhanced graphics and lighting effects. It also opens a new chapter to the game with a new playable character and new areas to explore.

To date, the strategic relationship between BAM! Entertainment and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has allowed BAM! Entertainment to bring to North America three popular Sony titles for the PlayStation 2 which were previously only available in Europe. The titles include WRC: World Rally Championship, which BAM! shipped in March of this year, Dropship: United Peace Force, which shipped last week, and WipEout Fusion, which reaches retailers this week.

The much anticipated RPG Divine Divinity will be released in the UK on 13th September 2002. For those of you who can’t wait, the first chapter of the prequel story is now
online HERE. The story has been split into six parts, with a new instalment being posted every Tuesday. The prequel story takes you through the origins of the Lord of Chaos. It also introduces the Sword of Lies, which the player will eventually come across in the full game.
