Recently a member of the official Renegade forums has posted a fake modification that "allowed" for using the ORCA VTOL aircraft in the first mission of Renegade's single player, Scorpion Hunters. Ubi Soft and Wolfpack Studios originally announced that the game "Shadowbane" would launch in the first half of 2002, but they have collectively determined that it will be in the best interests of the game if they extend the beta test for a few more months. Rather than rush the game out the door, Wolfpack Studios and Ubi Soft have decided that they will release the game “when it is ready”. Shadowbane is currently undergoing a closed beta test..

Yes its true ... i just received my copy of Dungeon Siege today. Ahh do i love the smell of games fresh out of the box or what, it almost turns me on! Hey, i said ALMOST! At any rate .. after a few hours of gameplay i made a 50 some screens for all you people out there. So if it hits your local game store tomorrow then you know what to expect .. do NOT hesitate .. this game is a must have ... The next step up from Diablo II .. bigger and better! Njoy!

Patches here ... Patches there! Eidos just released the first
patch for Blood Omen 2. The
v1.1 patch is a mere 2.9mb large and fixes all kinda of stuff such as heyboard controls, mouse and gamepad (you'd figure they test this before it hits gold but hey .. thats just me) as well as believe it or not .. game crashes etc..etc...

Blizzard confirmed last night that the
Pandaren Race story was an April Fool's 'joke'. Indeed, for Blizzard, a race of Panda-men seems rather sensible. "It was indeed a joke," claims Beau Yarbrough (which may also be a joke name; we're not sure). "I'm afraid we have a rather dry sense of humor here, and I apologize if it didn't scan as us being silly." Of course, given April Fool tradition, making any kind of joke after midday on April 1 means that the joke is on the joke-maker, so nah nah nah-nah nah!
