Konami today announced that it will take the Karoke Revolution music video game franchise to new two-steppin' extremes this March on the PS2 with the debut of the first and only country music karaoke video game on the market – CMT Presents: Karaoke Revolution Country.

Take 2 today announced preliminary net sales of $1.2 billion for its 2005 fiscal year and Q4 net sales of $308 million. The results reveal that College Hoops 2K6 and Top Spin 2 have been pushed back from Q1 to Q2 2006 to provide additional time for development. A few new games were also introduced, including the port of GTA: Liberty City Stories to a current-gen console (most likely the PS2), and two new titles for the PSP, including an all-new GTA offering.

While the storyline of Agatha Christie: And Then There Were None follows 10 strangers who are invited to a lavish island only to be accused of murder, players assume the role of a new 11th character, Patrick Narracott the boatman who takes guests to the island. The player must reveal the killer before becoming a victim.

Video game sales dropped 18 percent to nearly $700 million, as consumers saved and waited for the launch of Microsoft's next-generation Xbox 360 gaming console and as overall hardware unit sales dropped.
