According to the Montreal Gazette, Radical president Ian Wilkinson announced today he is calling it quits and resigned, replaced by chief operating officer Kelly Zmak. No details were given as to why Ian so suddenly left the company he founded 15 years ago. A little over a year Vivendi purchased the Canadian developer, currently working on Scarface: The World Is Yours and was previously known for Crash Tag Team Racing, the Incredible Hulk, and The Simpsons: Hit & Run.

Codemasters has released a demo for its miniature racing game Micro Machines v4, giving you the opportunity to race against 3 additional people on three tracks (kitchen, a chicken coop, and on top of several unidentified rooftops), as well as a quick battle singleplayer mode against AI.

Valve announced a Day of Defeat: Source Summer 2006 update featuring a free map pack, a new gameplay style, Detonation, two brand new missions (Jagd, Colmar).
