Paradox Entertainment has licensed the British developer Virtual ProgrammingLtd the right to convert the award-winning historical strategy game Europa Universalis II to Apple´s PowerMac. The game will be released for the christmas season.

UK based PC flight simulation computer games publisher, Just Flight today announced the forthcoming 7th June 2002 PC CD-Rom release of the extreme sport air racing game, Xtreme Air Racing™ (£24.99). The game is the brainchild of flight simulation developer, Victory Simulations. PC players will compete in a digital recreation of the world's fastest motor sport. The game is being tipped as the benchmark in hi-speed, extreme sport; no-holds-barred air racing.

New Half-Life/Counter-Strike Update Patches Available NOW

As expected the Half-Life v1.1.0.9 patch and the Counter-Strike v1.0.0.4 (retail CS only) have been released. These updates have tons of fixes and tweaks such as the new Anti-Cheat protection, HLTV changes, integration of Steam technology and so on. Either use the SierraUp utility, from the "Configuration-Update" menu, that was distributed with previous releases or if you are one of those Steam people, you should have it by now (thanks blues). ­Kemco officially confirms today that Batman: Dark Tomorrow, initially slated for the Nintendo GameCube, will roar onto to the PS2 and the Xbox this fall. HotGen Studios Limited is developing the PS2 and Xbox versions, while the GameCube version is being developed internally by Kemco, as well as other global partners.
