New MechWarrior Game in Development ?

When Microsoft shut down Shadowrun studio FASA, founder Jordan Weisman bought back the rights to MechWarrior, Shadowrun, Crimson Skies and the other properties in the FASA catalog, and formed Smith & Tinker. At that time, it was too early to announce any plans, but earlier today several videos appeared out of nowhere showing off what is rumored to be footage from a new MechWarrior game under development at Piranha Games, who will reportedly officially announce a new title later this week.
