UK trademagazine MCV is bringing back the long running rumor that Eidos parent company SCi is up for grabs again. An apparent statement from SCi states that it "has entered into extremely preliminary discussions regarding a possible offer," while at the same time mentioning that so far no proposal has been offered, nor does it mean one will be made at all. Possible interested parties are EA, as usual, and also Warner, who not so long ago acquired a 10% state in Sci.

SEGA has released a new patch for Creative Assembly's 3D RTS Medieval II: Total War. This v1.3 update makes the game compatible with the new Kingdoms expansion, and fixes some instances of floating settlements in both titles.
