Stop Uwe Boll Movies With One Million Signatures

When Uwe Boll was informed that a petition for him to stop making movies already had 18,000 signatures, he responded that "18,000 is not enough to convince me." Of course, Boll was asked how many it WOULD take, and he answered, "One million." So for all the people out there who think his Alone in the Dark, Bloodrayne, Dungeon Siege and House of the Dead are disgracing video games, here's your chance. Vote en masse!

That hasn't stopped EA from signing various agreements with companies like Neowiz for FIFA Online, its upcoming sequel, Battlefield Online, and most recently NBA Street Online.

'Full Auto' Developer Pseudo Interactive Shuts Down

After yesterday's sad news about CastAway Entertainment there is more bad news as Pseudo Interactive, Canadian studio behind the Full Auto titles, is forced to shut down when Eidos/SCi canceled an in-development title. According to 1UP, all 50 employees were let go after last minute attempts failed to bare any results.

Castaway Entertainment to be Voted Off the Island

Over the years various Blizzard developers left to seek fortune on their own. After the closure of Blizzard North Michael Scandizzo set up Castaway Entertainment, and recruited studio lead Rick Seis. Credited with titles such as Diablo, Diablo II and Diablo II: Lords of Destruction expansion, Castaway signed with EA for an action-RPG it was working on. Like several other projects things went sideways along the way, and since it was founded in 2003 only managed to ship one title, Yaris for Xbox Live Arcade. All this misfortune is taking its toll as Scandizzo confirmed the studio has laid off 20 people and if no new projects surface, only has a few weeks left until it will shut down.

EA Shutting Down Modded 'Battlefield 2' Ranked Servers

With the help of the community and its partners EA has located and shut down a number of modified servers which were being used for sending inflated scores to the Battlefield 2 stats leaderboards. During this crackdown process over 1000 players has their stats wiped to best protect the leaderboard integrity.
