Insomniac Games, known for Ratchet & Clank and Resistance franchises, unveiled a tech-sharing initiative dubbed 'Nocturnal' in which it will share elements of its technology source code and presentations free of charge with the worldwide development community.

Last month, Valve's marketing director Doug Lombardi mentioned that apart from new Team Fortress 2 maps, there would also be more Portal to come, but the "details were still being worked out." While no new information was revealed, Portal's lead designer Kimberly Swift gave further confirmation by saying, "I believe Doug Lombardi, who is our lead marketing director at Valve, has announced Portal 2" during an interview with G4TV. Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer takes place in a fantastical version of feudal Japan and stars a masterless samurai named Shiren who travels with a weasel named Koppa. Together they are on a quest to discover the mystical Land of the Golden Condor, said to be the home of the legendary city of gold known as El Dorado.
